Travel Mapper — Support

A little help getting your journey onto the map.

Travel Mapper is coming soon for iPhone and iPad. This page covers the app’s photo-to-film workflow and the upcoming release.

For help, email support@zehaviworks.com. Include your device model, iOS version, app version, and the step that caused the problem. Please leave private photos and exact travel locations out of your message unless they’re needed to explain the issue.

Starting a trip

Choose the travel dates for photos that contain location information. Allow access to the photos you want to use; limited photo access is supported. You can also build a route manually or explore the sample trip without photo access.

Why aren’t my photos appearing?

Check the date range and the photos allowed in iOS Settings. A photo must have embedded location information to create a photo-based stop. Some screenshots, downloaded images, and photos taken with camera location disabled do not have it. Add those places manually instead.

If a photo is stored in iCloud, allow the device to connect to the internet so Apple Photos can download it for your film.

Can I correct the route?

Yes. You can add, rename, reorder, and remove stops, and adjust their position. The route connects the stops you choose; it is a visual story of the trip, not a navigation route or a record of the exact road taken.

Making and saving a film

Choose a map palette, route style, title, photos, soundtrack, and output shape. MP4 exports can include music; animated GIFs are silent. Keep Travel Mapper in the foreground while rendering. If an export fails, try a shorter film and check that the device has enough free storage.

Use Save to Photos to add the finished film to your library. If saving is denied, review Travel Mapper’s Photos permission in iOS Settings. The Share button can send the finished file to a destination you choose.

Why is my video 720p?

Free exports are limited to 720p and include a small Travel Mapper watermark. Travel Mapper Pro removes the watermark and enables 1080p MP4 video. GIF exports are capped at 720 pixels on the longest edge for both free and Pro.

How do I restore Pro?

Use Restore Purchases in the app’s Settings while signed in to the Apple Account that purchased Pro. An internet connection may be required. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. If the purchase is awaiting approval, it unlocks after Apple confirms it.

Trips, deletion, and privacy

Trips are stored locally and do not sync between devices. Deleting a trip does not delete the original photos or films already saved or shared. Zehavi Works cannot recover deleted trip data from a server. Review your film before sharing because its photos, place names, dates, and route can reveal where you traveled.
